I was quite a skeptic of chiropractors. My limited but traditional training in medicine had me convinced it must be "quackery." However that was before I found myself barely able to stand or walk after a lifting injury at work. I didn’t want to go to a stranger. Dr. Mary Grace Pennella was a charismatic person I had met at our church years before she finished her schooling. I felt safe telling her up front that I was a skeptic. She wasn’t shocked, offended or defensive. She let the results of her professional treatments speak for her. Where pain medications, muscle relaxants, and bed rest had failed (and in fact worsened my condition), Dr. M.G. Pennella’s chiropractic diagnosis and treatment succeeded in returning me quickly to work.

I have been under Dr. Pennell’s care for nearly a year. I feel less moody, more optimistic, more calm and more focused in my thinking. I have more energy and sleep more soundly than ever before. All of these improvements enabled me to increase the intensity of my workouts. These significant improvements in my quality of life are most assuredly due to her work. I have but one regret, that I didn’t seek out her healing hands sooner.
